Like every Tuesday morning on the Morning Show, we talked to Kate from the Tri County Humane Society and this week's adoptable pet is Oriole. A relatively smaller dog with a lot of tongue.  Check her out.

Meet Oriole! She arrived here as a transfer from another facility, so we don't know anything about her background. Oriole is a very high energy pupper that will need ample exercise and enrichment at home to stay entertained. She's working on her manners and so far knows "sit" for a treat.

She can be mouthy when she gets excited and would benefit from further training with her new humans to learn how to be a well-behaved lady. It is unknown if she has met other dogs, cats, or children in the past. Slow and proper introductions are always recommended when meeting new resident pets and people.

Was told by transporter that she can be quite the escape artist in a home setting- her new owners should be prepared to help guide her through recall training and utilize appropriate ways of containing her. She would love to have a variety of different toys in her new home to play with; a variety of playtime activities can be found in the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe!.

Oriole should be fed a high quality, portion controlled diet to keep her body in tip top shape!. This happy, bouncy pup cannot wait to meet her family!. Oriole currently weighs 41 pounds. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.

You can make an appointment and check out Oriole and see if see would be a good fit for your home.  Give the tri County Humane Society for more information (320) 252-0896
