Cheer Up, Most of Us Have It Pretty Good

It's pretty easy to dwell on what seems to be a tough life. Life is tough but here in Minnesota and the entire country, we have it so much better than some others.

We aren't making enough money, we want a bigger house, a nicer car, etc. In reality, millions and millions of people around the world would trade places with us in a nano second.

If you have money in your pocket and can afford a vacation or two every year, you are among the richest 18% of the world's wealthiest people.

If you have food to eat, clothes to wear, a roof over your head, you are better off than 75% of the entire world.

If you are alive and healthy, you are luckier than one million people that will die this week.

If you are able to read this, you are better off than 3 billion people worldwide that are blind, deaf or illiterate.

Just putting things in perspective.  So, chin up, we've got it pretty good.
