Do You Support ‘Everyone’s a Winner’ These Days? Poll Results

A couple weeks ago I posted the question about if you support 'everyone's a winner' policy the state has adapted to it's schools. The results are in!

How is ‘everyone’s a winner’ even remotely a good thing???

Since this trend has started in schools and sports across the country, these kids have become adults. There’s a different kind of adult that’s very different from many of us…many of them don’t know how to react when they aren’t rewarded for everything they do.

If you don’t know what ‘everyone’s a winner’ is, it’s basically giving a reward for participating, in whatever they do. No negative consequence or disciplinary action in everything you do. If you tried, then you are a winner too. That’s not what life is about.

The results are in and central Minnesota is definitely against this policy for the most part.

Option 1 - No, it sets kids up for failure: 95%
Option 2 - Yes and no, depends on the child: 5%

Since most people are against it then why do we continue to adhere to a policy that only sets kids up for failure in adult life? Thanks for all the votes Minnesota.
