Don’t Miss this Haunting Good Time in Minnesota
There’s something to be said for being “in the moment”, and not missing things happening around you right now. With weather like we’ve been having lately, that is easier to do for sure.
But I’m always one trying to look ahead, planning and trying to be prepared for what’s coming down the line. In doing that, that puts those who are like me who wanting to see what’s coming in the next thirty to sixty days.
That of course puts us in fall and close to Halloween, which is a time a lot of people love. If you enjoy a good “haunting”, have you been to Stillwater for their Haunted History Trolley Tour?
This theatrical tour starts as an innocent ride around one of Minnesota’s oldest towns but takes a scary turn when uninvited passengers begin to board the car and tell their own horror story connecting to Stillwater.
These tours run on the following dates:
October 11th and 12th
October 17th, 18th, and 19th
October 24th, 25th and 26th
There are five tours each night, starting on the half-hour beginning at 7pm. Each tour lasts one hour, and seating is on a first come, first served basis. These tours are popular, and could sell out, so buying your tickets now wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Ticket prices are $51 for each ticket and include one free drink at River Siren Brewery, where the trolley will pick you up. You are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your tour time.
In addition to the tour itself, there will be black and white movies being shown, as well as a scavenger hunt with prizes, and then you can roast some marshmallows on the fire. These activities are included in your ticket price.
Because of the popularity of the tours, there will be no refunds and once you get your tickets you are not allowed to exchange the tickets for another tour time.
Also, because of the nature of the event and uneven surfaces, the Trolley Cars are not ADA compliant.
