Eating Organic. Important? Expensive?
When I think of eating organic, I think of farmers markets, which, by the way, I'm excited for them to be around again sometime soon, and I also think of the expensive aisle(s) in the grocery store. I tend to think of stores such as Whole Foods and a more local version here in St. Cloud- Fresh Thyme.
Here is the kicker. Whole Foods is NOT the number one seller of organic foods. Guess what is...
Walmart. Yep. The place where people think of getting much lower prices, you can wear your pajamas without being judged, and apparently organic foods. That is something that I would never have thought to go to buy anything organic. It's not that I wouldn't buy it there- I just wouldn't think of going to Walmart to buy anything like that. Would you?
Farmer's Markets, though. That stuff is the shizznit. I've not been around here for about 9 years prior to October of last year. Wondering... do we have Farmer's Markets around here, or are they still just the little stands that you see here and there. Those are great, by the way, but I'm just wondering if there is a more organized one that takes up like a whole street, or a parking lot? Like on a certain Saturday morning?
Help me out here people! Until then... I guess Walmart is the place to go.
