Well, apparently Facebook is stepping up it's game as far as misinformation goes.  There has been so much misinformation on social media.  People have liked, shared or posted items of information they have found and it's totally not true, in part or in entirety.

So now, Facebook is keeping track of these posts. They are alerting the user of these "fake news" posts.  Whether you posted it, reacted to it or shared it.

Facebook, because of all the users that it has throughout the world, can be a type of epicenter of misinformation that can get shared, posted and reacted to more than almost any other "news" site.  Basically, before this crackdown, if you are getting your news and information just from Facebook or other social media...it's probably a good idea to fact check before believing what you read.

Hopefully this will all be over relatively soon and we can get back to some sort of normalcy. Financially this  has been horrible.  I get why everything is having to be shut down for now... but wow.
