2020 has been quite the year, right?  When a new years  comes around you always hear  people saying that they are so excited for the new year because the last year was awful, and they are ready to let that go.  I don't know of a worst year than what 2020 has brought us- as a whole.  I know there are things that have happened in other years that have been horrible.  But 2020 has been a pretty rotten year for most everyone on the planet.

Although... what happened to the murder hornets?  Weren't we supposed to get those?  Or did I miss those pesky things?

Anyway, if you are into a lot of snow, and cold temperatures, then the winter of 2020 is for you!  According to the Farmer's Almanac, we are in for just that... a cold and snowy winter.

So, St. Cloud being in the central part of the state probably means somewhere in the middle of that temperature breakdown.  Honestly, I'm ok with 10 degrees in the winter, as long as it's not crazy windy.  That's the stuff that takes your breath away when you step outside.  But if you are into those winter sports, then 10-15 degrees on a sunny day can be a perfect time to go snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, either downhill or cross country.  So, there can be some good things to this.

I can deal with this weather prediction.  And I'm really not a fan of winter.  I can appreciate the beauty of it, for sure.  But when we get an extended bout of snow and cold, I'm done.  Winter seems to always be the greedy season.  It extends from late Fall into early spring.  Stay in your lane, winter!
