The Red Hot Chili Peppers' former guitarist is not attending their rock hall induction and the group doesn't seem to care.

Former lead guitarist John Frusciante was a large part of Red Hot Chili Peppers success in the 90's and ultimately ended up leaving the group several years ago. In an interview with Billboard, John said that when he's done with something, he's done and leaves it behind and has no interest in revisiting it, and that includes Red Hot Chili Peppers, thus he will not be attending the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony with the rest of the band members.

Drummer Chad Smith says he has nothing bad to say about John and he respects his decision not to be a part of it, but the rest of the group will be there and they intend on having a good time.

The group will be inducted along with Guns n' Roses, Beastie Boys and a whole host of others on April 14 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.
