Michael John Paul Wilson 37, a former employee for Buffalo Wild Wings in Blaine is looking at multiple charges of theft after he allegedly made up over $10,000 worth of BWW gift cards that he handed out as prizes while doing his DJ gigs.

The maximum penalty for theft and theft by swindle is 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine on each charge. Wilson was employed at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Blaine from January 1st until June 11th this year. While working there he made up $10,560 worth of Buffalo Wild Wings gift cards.

When Wilson was questioned, he admitted to making the gift cards to use as promotional giveaways at his DJ gigs.

Buffalo Wild Wings was able to cancel some of the cards but still took a loss of about $7000
