Let's start with, in my opinion, STUPID f'ing idea. There, got that out of the way.  If you are unfamiliar with what "herd Immunity" is, it's the belief that allowing the virus to spread freely though the population encouraging people to quickly develop immunity , thus becoming unlikely to spread the virus.

This theory has been disputed by many medical experts. Countries in Europe have rejected this idea as a pandemic strategy. I think Sweden tried this and it failed miserably.

Despite all this, the world's very first "Herd Immunity Festival" is all set to take place next month in Ringle, Wisconsin. No date yet. Even though music events have been cancelled to hold down the spread of this virus, this festival is scheduled to go ahead against the advice of medical experts.

One of the event organizers wrote on Facebook  “As humans we NEED other human contact. MUSIC in itself is great, but the live streams as I am sure you all know is just not the same we need LIVE , feel it to the bones, run shivers up your spine MUSIC with people around us. Takes us all away on a trip that unless you have felt it you won’t understand.”

Some of the artists scheduled to appear at the festival are Bobaflex, Static X, Nonpoint, Dope, and Royal Bliss.  I see no one here worth risking my health to see play. This "mini-fest" will take place outdoors at Q&Z Expo Center.
