Gear Daddies to Perform Saturday the 28th

Minnesota's own Gear Daddies will be playing at the Medina Entertainment Center this Saturday night, December 28th.  And they aren't coming alone.  They are bringing along special guest Chris Kroeze, who you may know from the Voice.  He is from Barron, Wisconsin, which you also may remember as the town that Jayme Closs is from.  Kroeze did a couple of benefit concerts in and around Barron to help raise funds for the search and rescue of Closs.

The Gear Daddies was one of my favorite bands that played here in the St Cloud area when I was in college.  I have several of their CDs and listen to them often.  They still play the music that everyone knows... if you were a fan of them back in the late 80s and 90s.

Martin Zellar did go out on his own for a number of years, and still performs with and without the Gear Daddies.  Every time they play in town at the Red Carpet, the show sells out quickly.  This week they are playing at the Medina Entertainment Center.  I would purchase tickets...they are worth it.  You could also try and win a pair this week by listening to the Loon.
