General Mills Announces 16 New Cereals

Just when you thought life was going to be really boring here comes Minneapolis based General Mills with 16 new cereals.

Breakfast just got a bit more interesting.  Although, I'm just waiting for the people who want more "healthy options" in cereals might not be too thrilled with these new options.

Some of the new cereals are including more options for cereals that are already familiar.  Others are completely new. Like Dunkaroos cereal.  This is to go along with the "reboot" if you will, of the Dunkaroos snacks.  If you are not familiar with Dunkaroos, they are basically cookie sticks that you dunk in a pot of frosting.  Sounds super healthy, right?   Ha!

But seriously, if you are wanting something more healthy, there is a new line of keto-friendly cereals being released in 3 flavors; cinnamon, chocolate and peanut butter.

There is also some cereals being released based on Sesame Street.  And there will be a little story to accompany them in both English and Spanish.

A list of the 16 new cereals:

Cheerios, new flavors include Chocolate Strawberry and Multi-grain with strawberries.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch has some new additions.  Chocolate Churros, Remix Chocolate/caramel, Remix cinnamon/vanilla

Dunkaroos & Golden Graham new addition includes Remix S'mores.

Three Keto friends flavors, and Lara Bar cereals.  There will be three of those too.  Flavors of Lara Bar cereal include Apple Pie, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and Cashew Cookie.

Two Sesame Street choices, and a Pokemon cereal. That one will be Berry Bolt flavor with some marshmallows included.

So, beginning of 2021, look for these new flavors at your local grocery store.
