Great Movies that BOMBED at the Box Office

You always see these lists towards the end of the year.... this seems a little early for this list, but hey... I took a look.

I was really surprised at a few of these movies on the list, but one in particular... Shawshank Redemption.  How can that movie have possibly bombed at the box office???  Well, it did the first time it was released.  They actually released it a second time and it did very well...or at least much better.   i saw this movie in the theatre and was "wowed".  It was an amazing movie.  I put it up there with Shindler's List.

There are a few others that I was surprised were on this list like "It's a Wonderful Life".  But maybe when it came out it wasn't thought of that much, and has become a classic.  Full disclosure- I've never seen that movie.  I know the story and all, but I've never actually seen the movie.
