Kate from Tri County Humane Society phoned in this morning to tell us about a great pet for kids, named Smores.  Here is everything your need to know about this little furry friend.

Say hello to Smores! She came to TCHS with two friends due to landlord issues. Has been friendly with staff since arrival. Smores spent some time in a foster home before she was ready for adoption.

She can be shy and takes time to adjust to new people ~~ She will benefit from regular socialization to get used to being handled. She enjoys pets by her ears and on her sides. In the foster home, she was interested in the dog through her cage, but hasn't met other animals directly.

Slow and proper introductions are recommended when introducing new pets. She did well with the young children in her foster home. Would enjoy supervised time outside of the cage. Should be fed unlimited timothy hay supplemented with pellets to ensure she has a high-quality diet.

Would enjoy regular fruits or veggies to add variety and nutrition to her diet, her favorite snacks include carrots, cucumbers, and bell peppers.

This cutie cannot wait to meet you! Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care ~~DEPOSITS MAY BE PLACED ON ADOPTABLE ANIMALS by calling 320-252-0896

Don't forget, Tri County Humane Society has a great selection of all your pet needs for sale in their shop.
