Guy Fieri Films a “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” In Moorhead, MN

It's always nice when a celebrity makes a stop in your town. It's even better if you own a restaurant and they are coming to make you world famous.

That's exactly what's happening to a couple of eating establishments in Moorhead, Minnesota this week. Guy Fieri is filming an episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" at a restaurant called the Junkyard Brewing Co and Sol Ave, both in Moorhead.

I've never been to Sol Ave. but I have eaten at The Junkyard Brewing Co and it's pretty good food. Also, it's just and all around interesting place. one of those places you just feel both comfortable and just a little on edge.

They say that if Fieri features your restaurant on his show, that you will benefit from the "Triple D Effect" meaning your place is about to become extremely popular.  Places you were able to just walk into before, become places with a line around the block.

Sol Ave features what they call "Happy Food".  and they describe their restaurant as "fast-casual concept, serving globally and thoughtfully inspired street food with a Midwest twist to make you feel good."

I have no idea when these episodes will air but it will be on the Food Network. If you are one of those people that like to trek to these great eating places, Sol Ave is located at 1408 1st Ave N in Moorhead and the Junkyard Brewing Co is just down the street at 1416 1st Ave N.
