Throughout the summer months in Minnesota, and generally in the 5 state area, you can find some music playing outside on any given weekend.  This may vary from just an acoustic music jam to a full blown outdoor festival.  And anything in between those two types of shows.

This time we are heading to the Duluth area and to Glansheen Mansion.  They have an annual outdoor concert series, and they just announced the lineup for his year.

Guests are encouraged to paddle or boat in to view concerts from the water or bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show from the shore. However, no watercraft are permitted to be launched from the property.

There is also the option to take a shuttle from UMD campus to Glensheen.

Throughout the month of June there there will be beer gardens that will be featured for the night.  Then, starting in July, the concert series will begin, and will run throughout July and August.

If you want one of the seats that is directly behind the band, you will have a chance to get early access to those seats if you have a ticket for the grounds and/or grounds tour.  Otherwise the shows are free.  There will also be ice cream, food trucks, lawn games and some drinks available during the concerts.

The shows are scheduled from 5-8pm with the headliner taking the stage at 6:30pm.
