If You Love Scooby-Doo, You’ll Love Cano, Up For Adoption

We talked to Kate from Tri County humane Society about this week's adoptable pet, Cano.  Cano is a nice mellow 10 year old Great Dane mix and would make a great addition to any family. Just look at that face!

Say hello to Cano! This distinguished gent came to TCHS because he was not a fan of other pets in the home. He is a people lover and gets along great with everyone on two legs. Was a very good boy for his exam and interactions with shelter staff. He will need to be the only pet in the home to set him up for success.

He is very affectionate and loves treats. Highly food motivated, and seems quite intelligent. He loves chasing lasers! Would benefit from a high quality dog food to keep him healthy in his advanced age.

Unknown how he does around children. Slow and proper introductions are always recommended when meeting new people; ask a staff member for more information ~~ Cano would love to have some tough chew toys like Kongs or bones to keep him busy

He is so excited to meet his new family! Weighs 83 pounds. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.
