Is Whitesnake Breaking Up?

One member of Whitesnake has announced his departure. What will happen with the rest of the group? 

Whitesnake drummer Brian Tichy has announced that he is leaving the group.

He explains on their Facebook page that he is leaving to work on his own project called S.U.N. and he says he feels that he needs to devote himself to that. Brian says that he’s grateful for the time he spent with the group and that David Coverdale is owed a “big, fat thank you” for letting him go and do his own thing. Brian adds that he has learned a lot from David and that "if you want something, you better at least try to get it” and that’s what he’s doing now. He explains doing his own group is something that he has “always wanted” and is going to “shoot for the stars.”

Brian was with Whitesnake for over two years.
