It's been such a f'd up year that I have decided not to count this NFL season just because this entire year has been just too surreal. Most everything has been, to say the least, pretty messed up. So, I see no reason we can't just call it a scrimmage season for the Vikings.

I've grown up a Vikings fan, going way back to when Joe Capp was the Viking's quarterback.  Since then I've cheered the Vikings on, mostly to no avail. I've watched them make it all the way to the Super Bowl, only to be brought back to Earth with another disappointment.

Yesterday's game with the Bears was no different. Miscue after miscue. A team the Vikings had very little trouble with earlier in the season brought their C game but unfortunately, the Vikings brought their D game. Not much to watch. At least Bailey got his kicking back to where it was before last week.

Bear's quarterback, Trubisky didn't really have that better of a game than Cousins. Trubisky completed 15 of 21 passes for 202 yards, one touchdown and 1 interception. while Cousins threw for 271 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception.

Vikings fall to 6 and 8 while Chicago went to 7 and 7.  It could be much worse. The Jets won their first game of the season and Jacksonville is at is at 1 and 13. Jet's fans weren't happy about their first win. They probably screwed themselves out of a #1 draft pick.

I see no reason why we can't just write this season and most everything in 2020 off and start new next season.
