It's a 2 for Tuesday, so double your pleasure and double your fun with these two great cats from the Tri County Humane Society. Kate says these 2 should go as a pair, as they are best of friends.

Meet Sasha! Sasha originally came to our shelter with her litter mates. Was adopted and returned with sister Sadie 7 years later due to possible litter box aversion. She was found to have a urinary infection. She has been fed a urinary food in the shelter, and her new adopters should continue this diet in her new home.

Proper litter box care is very important for Sasha in the future. It is recommended to have one more box than cats in the home (for example, 2 cats should have 3 litter boxes available). The litter boxes should be in places easy for Sasha to get to, and large enough for her to feel comfortable using them.

They should also be regularly cleaned to lessen her chances of going outside the box.  She has not met other cats besides her sister, or any dogs, slow and proper introductions are strongly recommended with any resident pets. Sasha and Sadie would absolutely LOVE to go home together, and would qualify for the BOGO for Besties promo if adopted as a pair.

She was described as a sweet girl who enjoys affection from her people. Sasha is obese and should be kept on a diet to help get her down to a healthy weight. She tended to be friendly with new people in her last home .To military personnel, veterans and seniors-the fee would be waived.

Meet Sadie. Sadie originally came to our shelter with her litter mates as they were found as strays and could not be kept. She was adopted with her sister, Sasha, then both were returned after 8 years due to possible litter box aversion. Was found to have a urinary infection when she came in.

Has been fed a urinary/ GI prescription food and her new adopters should continue with this food in her new home. Would also benefit from wet food to help water intake. Sadie also has a sensitive tummy, which is her prescription is helping with. Proper litter box care is important for Sadie in the future. It is recommended to have one more box than cats in the home (for example, 2 cats should have 3 litter boxes available).
