Like it or not, it looks like masks might pretty much be required most places indoors as this pandemic continues to rage on. One of the common denominators in countries that have flattened the curse on COVID-9 are countries that required or highly recommended wearing masks in public.

Starbucks is the latest to jump on the bandwagon and will be requiring customers buying inside the store to wear protective masks.

With this virus spiking all around the country, Starbucks plans to institute the mask requirement nationwide starting this Wednesday (7/15).  Starbucks mad the official mask announcement last Thursday (7/9).

Starbucks stated on their Twitter feed that  "Our priority is the health and well-being of our partners (employees) and customers."

Starbucks will offer curbside delivery and, of course, the drive thru will be available should you not have a mask on.

I think we are going to see more and more businesses adopting this requirement in an effort to protect their employees and customers.

I'm not crazy about wearing a mask when I'm out in a public place but I realize the importance of doing whatever I can to help curb this virus spread. You just don't know if you are asymptomatic. It would be a shame if you unknowingly past on the virus to someone that was at high risk or had family that was.

I guess the best advice would be to listen to the experts like the CDC. Their only agenda is to end this thing and get us all back to normal.
