Jay Leno Makes Tracks For Minnesota
As a performer myself, I’m all about supporting fellow entertainers. When I can find the time I try to get out and watch local bands perform, along with plays, and other activities of the kind. Over the past two years or so I’ve become quite fond of stand-up comedy.
I've had the privilege of hosting comedy night at Benton Station in Sauk Rapids for a while and I always enjoy my time seeing the comedians perform. Needless to say, I was pretty excited to see that comedian and commentator Jay Leno is going to be performing at the State Theatre in Minneapolis on Sunday, September 15th.
Now, personally, I've always been more of a David Letterman kind of guy. It seems likes fans of one of these legends are often not fans of the other. I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe it's because of the debate surrounding which of them actually deserved to be the heir to Johnny Carson's throne. Who knows? But hey, I have nothing against Leno. Being that he was one of the best rated late night hosts of all time, his talent is undeniable.
If you haven’t heard his routine yet, it’s worth checking out. He has some pretty hysterical material. The show will be starting at 7 pm. You can get your tickets online right now for as cheap as $49. Get your tickets as soon as possible. Being that Jay is such legend in the comedy world, I suspect tickets will sell rather quickly.
