John Cougar Mellencamp Tribute Comes To Pioneer Place

There are really only a handful of singer-songwriters in the history music that made a long term impact on pop culture. Some of them being Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Kurt Cobain, Bruce Springsteen and James Taylor.

Of course, another name that has to make the list is the one and only – John Cougar Mellencamp. John is one of the most influential songwriters of all time and one of the best live performers. I didn’t really appreciate his music until recently, but now looking back at his catalogue of music, I have a new found respect for it.

Since he isn't performing in Minnesota anytime in the near future you probably won’t be seeing him soon. You can, however, see “Small Town" - a tribute to John Cougar Mellencamp - live at Pioneer Place right here in St. Cloud on Thursday, April 30th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available online now for $28. They’re one of the best John Mellencamp tribute groups out there. It’s definitely worth checking out.
