Tribute To The Cars Will Take Place At Pioneer Place

There are really only a handful of singer-songwriters in the history music that made a long term impact on pop culture. Some of them being Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Kurt Cobain, Bruce Springsteen and James Taylor.

Of course, another name that has to make the list is the one and only – Ric Ocasek. Ric is one of the most influential songwriters of all time and one of the best live performers. I didn’t really appreciate his music until recently, but now looking back at his catalogue of music, I have a new found respect for it.

For obvious reasons, you won't be able to see The Cars perform anymore. You can, however, see “Drive" - a tribute to The Cars - live at Pioneer Place right here in St. Cloud on Friday, February 7th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available online now for $24. They’re one of the best tribute groups out there. It’s definitely worth checking out.
