Looks Like Josh Duhamel is Becoming a Permanent Minnesota Resident

It's always fun when we have actual celebrities that decide that Minnesota is a great place to be.  Of course, we had our resident Minnesotan-Musician which was Prince.  Probably the MOST famous musican from Minnesota, but there have been a few actors who either grew up here, or were born here and they made it big.

LET'S LEAVE HOLLYWOOD WHERE IT BELONGS - AS A WORKPLACE NOT A HOME

This time, Josh Duhamel, who has starred in several movies - both action and some rom coms, has put his Encino, California home on the market.  It's listed at $2.99 million.  That seems like a lot for us here in Minnesota, but in California terms, that's a nice, modest home.  Nothing extravagant.  But very nice.  This home was even featured on one of the home improvement shows with former Flipping Out host, Jeff Lewis.

Duhamel, who was formerly married to Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie, has traded in the glitz and glamour of Hollywood for the off the grid living here in Northern Minnesota.  He has been here for a few years, but now it sounds like he is making a permanent move.  He, along with his currant wife, Audra Mari and their two children, live in a cabin in Northern MN that he has been working on for the last twenty years.  Apparently now, it's ready to be lived in on a permanent basis.

HEAVY DOUBTS AS TO THIS REALLY NICE "CABIN" IS A DOOMSDAY PREPPER PLACE

The post above says "doomsday prepper" cabin.  I hadn't heard that before, but maybe that is the case.  This is no small place, either.  It sits on 50 acres.  If you want some privacy, this is how you do it.  And, no paparazzi here, either.  Although, if you happen to run into him around the area, he will probably stop and take a selfie with you.  It's got to be better than the life with all the photographers and tabloids of Hollywood.

The Doomsday Prepper comment in the listing from Realtor.com sounds like someone from Hollywood saying that as if to say that is the only reason why he'd move here.  Kind of funny.
