He is such a cute boy!  He's friendly, playful, loves his people, but can get a little stressed when there are little kids running around and being loud - being kids.  If you have kids, Kieba likes to be around some calmer kids and people.  Or just beware when he is there to just relax a little bit.

Kieba doesn't do anything harmful if kids are around and they are loud, but he does seem to get a little stressed.  He's 6 years old, and he's moving into more of a senior status, so just keep that in mind.

Kieba also just loves all other dogs.  Big, little, in between, but no one really knows how he would be with cats.  No one really knows if he's met any.  So, if you do happen to have a cat in the house a meet and greet would be a good idea.

THEY HAVE SEVERAL OTHER PETS IF KIEBA ISN'T RIGHT FOR YOUR FAMILY

Check out the Tri-County Humane Society and see if they have a pet there that you would be interested in adopting.  If Kieba isn't the right fit for you, they probably have another pet available that would work out for you.

You can contact the Tri-county Humane Society by either calling at 320-252-0896 or visit them online at tricountyhumanesociety.org

Check out some of their events they have coming up too including their Companion Walk otherwise known as Woofstock.  This is happening on September 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wilson Park in St. Cloud.

SOME MORE INFORMATION ABOUT WOOFSTOCK:

Expect vendors and exhibitors, food and drink, activities for dogs and kids, live music by Merritt Bussiere, a silent auction, and, of course, a pet-friendly walk! Not only is this a fun, family-friendly event, it's one of our most important fundraisers for the animals. Last year, we raised a net profit of $50,000 - and, with your help, we hope to do even better this year. The animals are counting on all of us!

If you cannot attend in person, you an always donate for the cause through the humane society website, or just stop in at 735 8th Street NE in St. Cloud.
