Koivu Leads Wild Past Winnipeg Sunday

Mikko Koivu scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner with just over three minutes left in regulation, and the Wild topped rival Winnipeg 2-1 Sunday night at Xcel Energy Center.

Koivu opened the game’s scoring at 16:37 of the opening period, then bookended the tally with another goal at 16:48 of the third.

The Wild improve to 13-4-4 on the season and will face off with the Canadiens in Montreal Tuesday night.
