Largest Amount Of Snow-fall Ever Recorded In Minnesota
When I was a kid growing up in Kentucky, I used to love the snow. Mainly because we typically didn’t get much of it. It’s a rather warm state, and although it wasn’t out of the ordinary for us to get an inch or two here and there, it was pretty uncommon for us to get enough to have fun in.
Then I moved to Minnesota, and I was in awe at how much snow-fall we get on a regular basis in the winter months. Since living here, I’ve seen my fair share of snow. It stays uncomfortably white for 7 months out of the year. We may as well just call ourselves Hoth.
I half way expect to see imperial walkers when I look outside in the winter. But some of our winters are far worse than others. So, just what is the largest amount of snow-fall ever recorded in Minnesota? The most snow ever recorded from a single storm here is a whopping 47 inches (January 6th – 8th, 1994.)
