Lassie’s A Very Cool Dog, And Is Up For Adoption

Kate from Tri County Humane Society took time out from her busy day, moving the shelter to their new location, to talk to Laura and me this morning about this week's adoptable pet.  Our adoptable pet this week is a very cool dog named Lassie.

Meet Lassie. Lassie came to the shelter looking for her new family. She spent her life as a farm dog and is looking forward to some TLC as an indoor dog during her senior years. Did well around other farm animals, including cats, dogs, and cows. Likes to be around people.

Despite her age, she still has a lot of energy and will benefit from an active life style. Lassie loves belly rubs and head scratches. She will beg for pets and attention when she wants to, and will let you know when she is ready for alone time. Lassie would do best with a high quality senior diet and daily exercise to ensure her health.

Because she was an outdoor dog in the past, it is unknown how well she is potty-trained. A regular schedule for potty breaks will be best. This sweetie cannot wait to meet her new loving family!!!
