Litchfield’s Drive-In Announces Opening Date – Later This Month

This is crazy to me, but I grew up about 15 minutes away from the Starlite Drive-In in Litchfield, and I have never seen a movie there.  Driven past it a thousand times, but never stopped to catch a flick.  I'm glad that people are still doing that, because seeing a movie outside, in your car must be pretty awsome.  Especially on a great warm evening, or even if it is cool out, would be a nice experience.  Something different than the norm.

The Starlite Drive-In announced on their social media page that they plan to open later this month.  The opening date is set for Friday, April 25th. THey have also added some upgrades.

We've been working tirelessly getting ready for another great season!

Last year's upgraded viewing experience came mid-season courtesy of our TWO NEW PROJECTORS, delivering sharper, brighter, and more vibrant movies under the stars. We're excited to continue providing that high-quality experience in an outdoor venue

They are promising some great movies for the summer along with some other events.  They have also upgrated their water system for concessions.  They also encourage people to keep an eye on their social page for any announcements on days that they will be open and for what movies and events will be happening at the Starlite.

I obviously need to keep an eye on this, and make plans to attend at least one movie showing.  How could I actually miss out on this when it was only 15 minutes away while I was growing up?  Not only this Drive-In, but also ANY drive-in.  Never been to an outdoor movie.  That's crazy to me.
