Lynx Win Playoff Opener Thursday

The Lynx topped San Antonio 88-84 in their playoff opener Thursday at Target Center. League MVP Maya Moore led the Lynx with 26 points, six rebounds and seven assists.

Seimone Augustus scored 16 points on 6-16 shooting for Minnesota, and Lindsay Whalen had a double-double with ten points and 11 assists.

Minnesota is at San Antonio on Saturday night with tipoff scheduled for 6 PM.
