This is such a cool story.

Some people have worn the same article of clothing to every game or sporting event for years; whether they are playing or just attending.  It's a kind of superstition to wear the same thing everytime without washing it.  But that's the sports world.  This is a little different.

Mark Aho had this John Lennon shirt printed 29 years ago, and since then, he has worn it to every single concert that he has gone to which is about 350 concerts.  All different genres at many different venues.

The business is a successful printing shop located in teh Twin Cities.

From KARE 11:

“T-shirts, T-shirts, and more T-shirts,” the owner of TAHO Sportswear says lightheartedly while giving a tour of his screen printing plant.

On a good day, “We can be getting close to a thousand an hour,” Mark says.

Since he began screen printing T-shirts in 1995, Mark says, “I don't know if we've eclipsed 10 million yet, but we're probably pretty close."

If you are wearing the same thing to every single concert you attend, it definitely takes the "what should I wear" question right out of the equation.  Doesn't matter if it's AC/DC or Willie Nelson or anything in between, Mark Aho is wearing that particular shirt to the show.  But - he said he does wash it everytime.  So, it's not quite about superstition like in the sports world, but it is about tradition.

The question now, when that time comes, is to will it to one of his kids, or to be buried in it.  Decisions, decisons.
