Meet Kona, Available For Adoption at Tri County Humane Society

Our friend Kate from Tri County Humane Society, called in this morning and told us about a great dog up for adoption.

Kona is a great dog that really needs a home. If you're like me, dogs are the best and every home should have at least one, right?

Meet Kona! ~~ This sweet little lady came to TCHS due to her previous owners not being able to afford her medical care ~~ Kona has suffered from seizures in the past but since starting her new medication she hasn't had one in eight months! ~~ Her new owners should be prepared to continue her medical care with their veterinarian to keep her healthy and happy ~~ She has lived with a dog before and did great with them ~~ ~~ Her previous owners said she can be a little territorial at first with new dogs but she quickly warms up ~~ A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is recommended ~~ She has not had the chance to meet any cats yet ~~ She has met children and loves them ~~ Slow and proper introduction to any new housemates is always recommended ~~ Her previous owners said she is crate trained and is used to being crated when her people are at work ~~ She is used to sleeping in bed with her people at night ~~ She is potty trained and will go to the door and whine when she need to go out ~~ She can be a little destructive with toys so she will need some durable toys in her new home ~~ Her favorite things to chew on are Kongs and bones, both of which are available at the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe! ~~ She loves to go for walks and is very good at not pulling on the leash ~~ This happy girl can't wait to met her fur-ever people! ~~Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care ~~DEPOSITS MAY BE PLACED ON ADOPTABLE ANIMALS by calling 320-252-0896
