Mikko Koivu Signs New Contract With The Minnesota Wild
Our favorite Finnish hockey player Mikko Koivu will be staying with the Minnesota Wild for the next two-years. Higher ups from the Wild camp and Koivu have come to an agreement that with this contract, Koivu will be banking in $11 Million bucks: $6 million in 2018-19 season and $5 million in 2019-20 season.
Koivu has played all 12 of his NHL seasons with the Wild, totaling up to 614 points (179 goals, 435 assists) in 843 games since being selected sixth overall in the 2001 NHL entry draft.
