If you feel like you haven't seen the sun in quite awhile, you are absolutely right.  It is super gloomy outside and now we know exactly how bad it has been.

January 2020 has been the gloomiest- cloudiest January since 1963.  Crazy!  And not in a good way at all... would like to see some sun up in this place!  And this is when you realize that SAD- Seasonal Affective Disorder, a form of depression is really a thing.  This is a type of depression that happens when the sun doesn't show itself during the Fall and Winter months for an extended period of time.  SAD also disappears when Spring rolls around.

This is a good time to book that vacation to somewhere warm and sunny.  Another good idea is to go and visit some places that have plants and flowers- like the Como Park Conservatory.  At least you can FEEL like it's nice and warm out.  It's been a relatively mild winter this year.  I guess that is the trade off.  It's either sunny with the polar vortex, or we have warmer temps and clouds.  I actually think I may give up the sun a bit for the warmer temps.  But that's just me.
