Miss Kitty Needs A Home & Family
Laura and I talked to Kate from the Tri County Humane Society this morning on the Morning Show. Every week Kate tells us about this week's adoptable pet. This week, Miss Kitty needs a home and a little love. Meet Miss Kitty
She was brought to TCHS due to the previous owner having too many animals. It is unknown if Miss Kitty has been around dogs or kids. All introductions should be slow and proper. She has met other cats and is very nervous around them. She would do best in a home with no other cats.
Miss Kitty would enjoy a scratching post or cat tower in her new home. Although she may be apprehensive when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with some chin scratches. Has been on a special gastrointestinal diet during her stay in the shelter to help with tummy troubles. LOVES Sheba pate food, and gets a serving daily.
Miss Kitty tested positive for Heartworm Disease, which is spread by mosquitoes. Heartworm in cats is different than in dogs, and she may or may not have complications from her positive status. Monthly heartworm prevention, along with follow up with her new family veterinarian is recommended to help ensure the best health she can have.
Despite this, she is a happy lady on the lookout for her new nest friend!. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care ~~DEPOSITS MAY BE PLACED ON ADOPTABLE ANIMALS by calling 320-252-0896
