Going to the Omnitheatre- the Science Museum of Minnesota used to be one of my favorite things to do. The Omni is so cool... like an IMAX with a curve.  It's kind of awesome.  The Science Museum is great for kids and adults.  There is something there for everyone.

Right now, obviously, no one can go there because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and everything is basically closed.  But now, you can watch some of those movies at home.

Omnifest is an annual event that has been cancelled because of the temporary closure... but now there is Omnifest at Home. From their website:

The Science Museum of Minnesota’s famous Omnitheater may be closed for now, but through June 15, you can host your own Omnifest at home for free!

Giant Screen Films is encouraging everyone to safely learn from home by releasing  several films, free, for streaming! So turn down the lights, sit back,  and enjoy a big-screen experience in your own home.

It might not be the giant screen you are used to at the Science Museum, but it's something.  And still educational. Great thing to sit and watch with the family.
