Mitzi Needs a Home & Family
Kate called into the Loon today with another adoptable pet. Mitzi the cat is looking for a permanent home. In my opinion, every home needs a pet and just maybe, Mitzi is the perfect fit for your home. Check out all about Mitzi;
~~Meet Mitzi ~~ Came to TCHS as a stray, so not much is known about her history ~~Was adopted twice and came back later due to being easily overstimulated ~~Friendly and outgoing ~~ Enjoys attention and responds to her name ~~ Has been sweet and snuggly with shelter staff ~~Gets overstimulated easily and may nip during those times ~~When Mitzi gets overstimulated (watch for flicking of the tail, twitching the ears and tensing of her muscles), stand up and let her fall off your lap then redirect her attention to an appropriate play toy or scratching post ~~ Plenty of indoor enrichment and the use of Feliway is recommended ~~Is front declawed, so an indoor-only home is required ~~Would still benefit from scratching posts to satisfy her natural behaviors ~~A cat tower and interactive toys are also good for feline enrichment ~~Lived in a home with a dog and was cautious around it ~~Does not care for other cats and would do well as the only cat in the home ~~Friendly interacting with young children but may do best with older kids that understand the signs of her becoming overstimulated ~~Mitzi is on the hunt for a new best friend; could that be you? ~~Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care ~~DEPOSITS MAY BE PLACED ON ADOPTABLE ANIMALS by calling 320-252-0896
