This can get confusing so here we go, Mickey is the lead vocals for both Jefferson Starship and Starship, 1979 - 1989, and since 1992.

Mickey is the lead vocals for the touring version of Starship, not to be confused with bandmate Paul Kantner who fronts the reconstructed Jefferson Starship. With me so far?

This is all brand new music for Starship since their 1989 album, 'Love Among the Cannibals.'

The new album will have a more sound that's living on-the-edge, so more rock, less pop. Close to what Jefferson Airplane conveyed to our ears.
