New Releases/Re-Issues For September 2012

Some late Summer releases for your listening enjoyment which include ZZ Top, Bob Dylan, Jon Lord, Dave Stewart, Thin Lizzy, and Uriah Heep just to name a few.

'La Futura' a new release for ZZ Top to be on shelves September 11th, expect some stuff giving you that classic ZZ Top sound but hanging on to the new Contemporary Technology. Past and Present never sounded better with, 'La Futura' which will be available on both CD and Lp.

Bob Dylan, A legend that Lives! His New album, "Tempest" released on September 11th. Available on CD and LP format. When it comes to longevity he beats out ZZ Top.  Wow, 50 years later Bob's 35th original studio album that will feature ten new songs in Dylan Style. Even sings of the Titanic and the late John Lennon. ( Should be available on MP3).

Jon Lord, Former keyboardist for 'Deep Purple' has left us with a fasinating work titled, "Concerto for Group Orchestra". A studio version should blow us away, this is a concert Jon performed close to three dozen times with a variety of Orchestra's after 'Deep Purple'. With the help of Jon Bonamassa, Bruce Dickinson and Steve Morse the recording was possible. Jon passed away  before it's release at the age of 71. Look for it September 25 on CD.

Dave Stewart ( Eurythmics) decided to to take a hiatus in a studio in Nashville and produce, "The Ringmaster General". It's a compilation of some Blues, Rock, Country, R & B and Psychedlia. The album will feature a variety of guests including Allison Krauss.  The art on this album is worth the buy in itself. Available September 4th on CD and LP.
