As usual, since it's Tuesday we talked to Kate from Tri County Humane Society about this weeks' adoptable pet, Picasso. She's a spunky girl and needs a home.  Check her out.

Meet Picasso! This sweet girl came to TCHS due to her previous owners not having enough time to care for her. She has lived with another dog and children in the past and did well with both. She hasn't not had the chance to meet cats yet. Slow and proper introduction is always recommended with any resident pets- ask a staff member for more details.

Picasso is a wiggly girl with lots of energy who loves everyone she meets! She should be taken for daily walks to help her burn off some excess energy. She does tend to pull on the leave and would benefit from the use of an Emily Weiss Walkie (found in the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe!).

She is very treat motivated and would benefit from some additional obedience classes- they are a great way for her to bond with her new adopters! She is used to being kenneled while her owners are at work during the day and does good with that.
She is also potty trained and will sit by the door when she needs to go outside- we always recommend keeping her on a consistent schedule to prevent any accidents. She would benefit from having a variety of durable toys-such as Kongs or treat puzzles- to keep her mind busy!
Should be fed a high quality diet to keep her in tip top shape. This snuggly girl cannot wait to meet her new family! Thank you to Dr. Thomas Rohman for spaying Picasso.
Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care
