Pierz & Becker Win, Prep Bowl Championship Bound

The Becker Bulldogs (12-0) beat the Stewartville Tigers (11-1) 34-14 last night in Chanhassen to send the Bulldogs back to the Class 4A championship Friday at TCF Bank Stadium. The Pierz Pioneers (12-0) topped Tri-City United (10-2) 29-6 at Park Center High School to send the Pioneers to the Class 3A title game.

Becker will face the winner of today's game between the ROCORI Spartans (9-3) and the South St. Paul Packers (10-1), scheduled for 4 PM this afternoon in Maple Grove. Becker won the 4A title last year by defeating DeLaSalle High School 24-6.

Pierz will face the winner of this afternoon's game between the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels (10-1) and the Jackson County Central Huskies (9-2), scheduled for 1 PM at Maple Grove High School.
