ST. CLOUD -- Just because your kids don't have school for a few days, doesn't mean there isn't several fun things around St. Cloud they can do to stay occupied. You can tour A and G Produce, enjoy some painting at Paramount Theatre, grab some treats at Pumpkinfest, have some fall fun at Kids Club at Chick-fil-A and enjoy the newest Escape Room at a few Stearns County Parks. Your kids and participate in several art projects at the Paramount Theatre while on MEA break. Each day is filled with fun art activities in a safe and friendly environment with professional art staff. Projects include Mixed Media, pottery, drawing and painting. Each day offers something new for kids to do. You're asked to send a bag lunch with your child (no peanuts) and an extra set of clothes. Cost is $64 per day for Thursday and Friday. The Fun starts at 9:00 a.m. and goes until 4:00 p.m.
Ghouls, Goblins and other creatures are asked to come to Lake George for an afternoon of spooktacular fun. The annual Pumpkinfest celebration is back Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Throughout the evening you and your kids can enjoy trick or treat stations, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, hayrides and more. There is also Comedy Juggler Alan Johnson performing two shows throughout the event. The fun at Lake George is free to attend and you are encouraged to wear a costume.
Fall is here and that means it's time to celebrate with some Halloween Fun. On Thursday you can take your kids to Chick-Fil-A near Crossroads Center for one their kids club sessions. From 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. you can join the hour long session for pumpkin crafts. The event is free!
A local group is offering you a chance to combine discovering the great outdoors and the engaging fun of an escape room. The Park Escape will give groups of up to eight a chance to have all the fun of an escape room while enjoying one of the great Stearns County Parks. The event is taking place at Kreamer Lake and Wildwood Park Thursday through Sunday. Cost is $25 for adults and $5 for kids (kid tickets can be found on the Value Connection).
Make an afternoon out at A and G Produce in St. Joseph Friday. A and G Produce is bringing a special pallet painting party from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Prices start at just $10 and when you're done take a walk through their corn maze, jump on their giant balloon or enjoy the other fun events on site. And if you can't make it Friday then make sure you tour the facility this weekend for all the fun A and G Produce has to offer.
