SAUK RAPIDS -- A Sauk Rapids man is jailed on gun and drug charges after a police raid Tuesday.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force was called in to serve a search warrant after police learned there may be several weapons inside the apartment at 12 3rd Avenue South in Sauk Rapids.

Officers say the search uncovered 46 grams of methamphetamine, 3 grams of heroin, a loaded .40-caliber handgun and more than $3,600 in cash. The handgun was found to have been stolen in a previous burglary in Sauk Rapids.

Police arrested the resident, 52-year-old Eric Robertson, who is a convicted felon and is in-eligible to have a gun in his possession. Robertson's jailed on 1st degree drug possession with intent to sell, possession of a stolen handgun and in-eligible gun possession.

Two women were also arrested for having a small amount of meth on them. Both 28-year-old Angelene Fischer of Princeton and 18-year-old Katelin Ferrell-Hernandez of South Haven face 5th degree drug possession charges.

A third woman at the address does not face any charges in the case.
