The former Kinks leader is hitting the road October 30 and is only playing 15 cities. Rumor has it, he's playing Minnesota.

Ray Davies has his fall tour all mapped out and he will be making a stop in the Twin Cities.

Davies made the announcement via his Facebook page and said he was originally going to play only ten shows focusing on the East Coast, but ticket demand was up, so he expanded it to the Midwest and it could expand even more.

The opening act for the first ten shows will be a group called The 88, the rest will be played with his backing band and a choir will accompany him at a few shows.  No ticket prices or on sale dates have been announced as of yet.

The tour kicks off October 30 at the Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans and he will play the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul on November 8.
