After their 50th Anniversary tour got pushed off this year and Mick says he's too busy with his new projects, does this mean the end for the Rolling Stones?

One person claiming to be a representative for the band tells the UK's Guardian newspaper, that, no this is not the end for the Rolling Stones and putting the kibosh on the rumors that the group is going to hang it up in 2013.

The group went into damage control mode after a story ran in the Sunday Mirror that said the Rolling Stones were done after their 50th Anniversary celebration next year. The article said that they were going to play a few dates around the states and UK, have "one last hurrah" and then be done. The rep said that their schedule for next year hasn't been confirmed and that there is "nothing to confirm or deny".

I can confirm that I don't want these guys to retire. Seeing them is on my bucket list.

By the way, it was on this day in 1969 that Jumpin' Jack Flash hit number one on the UK Pop Singles Chart.
