The St. Cloud Rox (19-24) opened a three-home homestand with a 3-2 walk-off win against the visiting Waterloo Bucks last night at Joe Faber Field.

With the game tied 2-2 moving into the ninth inning, Ryan Davis kicked off the bottom half of the inning with a double to center field. After being moved over to third, Ryan Weisenberg singled home Davis to send St. Cloud home walk-off winners once again.

Rox starter John Matthews had a historic night on the mound for the Rox, pitching 6.2 innings and tying a single-game Rox record with 13 strikeouts. He gave up five hits, two runs and walked just one to earn a no-decision. Jake Suddreth pitched 2.1 shutout innings in relief to pick up the win, giving up just one hit and striking out two.

Ryan Weisenberg led the Rox at the plate, going 2-for-5 with the game-winning RBI. Ryland Kerr went 3-for-4 with one RBI, Marshall Gilbert went 1-for-4 with one RBI and Ricardo Sanchez and Jack Barrie each had two hits and one run scored.
