Salute to All The Healthcare Heroes

If anyone in these scary times, deserves a salute and all of our appreciation, it's the doctors, nurses and first responders in all of our communities.

When I watch the news, I am amazed at the bravery and dedication it must take to bring one's self into the trenches of this pandemic every day, often lacking the safety attire needed to protect themselves.

I saw a story the other day about a doctor, after working 18 hour shifts, returns home and sleeps in a tent in the front yard to avoid exposing his wife and kids to the virus.

I've always thought it takes a special kind of person to go into the healthcare and first responder field of work. Their dedication is amazing and admirable.

Maybe, there should be a national "thank you" celebration when this is over.
