Now I love White Castle as much as the next person, but once I discovered that I could actually MAKE MY OWN sliders, oh... it was game on. These sliders are personally in my opinion, better then the ones you get at White Castle and they don't give you a massive stomach ache after having six of them in a row.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Pack of Hawaiian Rolls (Butter Flavor)
  • 1 Packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 Tablespoons of Mayo
  • 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese
  • Jar of Dill Pickle Slices

STEP 1

Your going to cook the ground beef and break it apart into fine pieces while it's cooking. Once it's fully cooked, DO NOT DRAIN the juices, they are going to help with mixing in the next few ingredients. So again once it's fully cooked, turn off the heat and then add in the Lipton Onion Soup Mix, the 2 tablespoons of Mayo and the cup of cheddar cheese and mix it all up until it's nicely blended together.

STEP 2

Next take out your Hawaiian Rolls and slice them all at once to make your buns (Do know you'll have a 50/50 chance at cutting them perfectly down the middle. I sometimes cut mine waaay too close to the bottom for some reason). Then take the bottom part of the buns and place them onto a baking sheet with tinfoil. Then get your jar of dill pickle slices and pat them down on a paper towel (I had over 20+ pickle slices on mine). Once you've soaked up the extra juice from the pickle slices, set them over to the side.

STEP 3

Pre-set your oven to 350° and let it heat up while your doing this next part. Take your meat mixture and spread it evenly across the bottom buns and then add on the pickle slices on top. Place the top buns onto the sliders and then put them in the ready to cook oven and leave them in there for 15-20 minutes (Depending how crispy you want the top of the buns).

STEP 4

Once the 15-20 minutes is up, take them out of the oven, let them cool off for a few minutes and then serve to your guess (or you can just eat them all yourself. No judging from me, since I've done that myself).
