Minnesota based General Mills claims this didn't happen at their facility... Hmmm do I believe that?

One of the most popular cereals, Cinnamon Toast Crunch is delicious.  It's all kinds of cinnamon-y goodness. But do I want some shrimp tails with my cereal?  Absolutely not.  This is super gross.  What's even worse, or is it worse?  Where is the rest of the shrimp?  It's just the tails. Like maybe someone was eating shrimp and dumped the tails into the vat of cereal mixture (or however they make it)?

Someone posted this on Twitter.  And I'm wondering if he found it right away while opening it, or did he dump it in his bowl and start eating and then discover the little buggers?  The latter would be worse, in my opinion.  Further investigation finds that he actually ate an entire bowl, then found the tails.  Also, there are more Tweets to show that the bag seemed to be taped up, AND there may or may not have been some dental floss found in the bag.  YUCK!

As far as General Mills, they say it didn't happen there. They also tried to say that they weren't actually shrimp tails, but bunches of a sugar mixture that looks like shrimp tails.  UMMMMM, not.  They're shrimp tails.  An article with Bring Me The News has this:

"While we are still investigating this matter, we can say with confidence that this did not occur at our facility," Mike Siemienas, a spokesperson for General Mills, told BMTN. "We are waiting for the consumer to send us the package to investigate further. Any consumers who notice their cereal box or bag has been tampered with, such as the clear tape that was found in this case, should contact us."

Would you even want a replacement?  I'm not sure what the route is that they should take.  But it's certainly puke-worthy.
